Our Story
Guru Shishyaa Global Academy was born from a simple idea: education should honour tradition without being trapped by it. Founded in Bengaluru, we started with a single Abacus class of six students. Today, we serve thousands of learners and hundreds of certified trainers across India — and the world.
Our name reflects the sacred teacher–student bond that has powered Indian learning for millennia. We bring that same intimacy, respect and rigour to every classroom — whether it's a five-year-old learning phonics or an adult training to become a Vedic Maths teacher.
What we teach
We offer three core tracks — each with a curated syllabus, master trainers and certification:
- For Kids (5+ years) — Abacus, Vedic Maths, Phonics, SpellBee, Handwriting, Calligraphy, Art & Craft, Rubik's Cube, Public Speaking, Spoken English, Hindi & Kannada.
- Teacher Training — Certified professional courses with lesson planning, business setup and marketing techniques. Easy installments available.
- Coding — From Scratch and Python for kids to web development and AI for teens.
